St. Paul Crossing
History
St. Paul Crossing had no accurate as-built documentation. The architecture firm in charge of renovating the building needed one floor plan documented. This allowed them to base all other floors on this one master plan, showing locations for the interior, stairs and supporting columns.
Project Process
Our 3-D laser scanning technology captured the existing conditions. Taking multiple scans and linking them together provided a virtual model of the entire floor of then building. Once the data was compiled it was transformed into digital 2-D drawings.

Benefits
Laser scanning technology quickly and accurately captured one entire floor of St. Paul Crossing. The scanning took one day. Processing the scans and creating the 2-D drawing required 4 days. This data provided the architecture firm a basis for their renovation designs.
